A Tale of Passion
Twan Kerckhofs has been the driving force behind Art Nzo since 2017, a creative studio where art, technology, and craftsmanship converge. After taking over the business from his sister, he transformed the original signage company into a multidisciplinary studio that provides innovative solutions in the world of 3D technology and visual arts. Twan’s artistic vision and passion for experimenting with materials and techniques have led to the development of a wide range of projects, from large sculptures to complex visual creations for theme parks and events.
With a background as a master sculptor and years of experience working with diverse materials, Twan excels in turning artistic challenges into unique, tangible results. He specializes in combining traditional sculpting techniques with modern technologies like 3D scanning and printing. Always seeking new ways to integrate different materials and techniques, he continuously pushes the boundaries of what’s possible. This allows him to realize large-scale, custom projects that are both technically and artistically impressive.
While Twan’s work is deeply rooted in his love for art and craftsmanship, his constant pursuit of innovation sets him apart. It is this blend of artistic sensibility and technological expertise that enables him to perform at a high level, whether he’s working on monumental sculptures or precise reproductions of complex objects. In addition to his work at Art Nzo, Twan shares his knowledge and passion as a lecturer at PXL-MAD School of Arts, where he inspires and guides future artists. This role allows him to bridge the gap between education and practice while remaining active as both an artist and innovator.
